Sonance is one of the pioneers in the world of sound system design and development. Founded in 1983 by Geoff Spencer and Scott Struthers who saw a market opportunity and decided to seize it by creating a sound solution that would elevate any watching experience without taking up a ton of space. Sonance offers products that are a perfect combination of aesthetics and reliability – an embodiment of their philosophy – building products that become an integral, seamless part of the architecture. They mainly deal in speakers, but their wide range has so much more to offer; in-wall or in-ceiling speakers, indoor and outdoor surround systems and various types of subwoofers. The company is headquartered in San Clemente, California, which is where the owners originally set up their operation as an independent business they remain to this day.
